A successful Estate and Lettings agent in Northwood are looking for a part-time lettings administrator to join their team. They are extremely busy so need someone who can support the lettings team and the full-time administrator with all administration duties.

The Ideal Candidate:

You will have previous experience in residential Property Lettings Administration; you will be a calm and unflappable person who can work in a pressurised environment; you will be able to solve problems effectively and in a timely manner.

The Role of a Lettings Administrator:

To oversee the processing of applications for new tenancies from the initial offer to move in, ensuring all relevant documentation and funds are in place before possession is given.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Overall management of the tenancy application process:
  • Preparing ‘offer subject to contract’ for agreement by landlord & applicant
  • Liaising with referencing company to obtain acceptable references
  • Preparation of tenancy agreements
  • Undertaking right to rent checks
  • Working in association with Senior Negotiator to ensure that property is ready in time for tenancy start date
  • Ensuring that all regulatory requirements have been met and funds are received
  • Book check-in appointments with inventory clerk
  • Preparation of tenancy agreements for tenancy renewals
  • Reports as required
  • Other general administration duties as required
  • Deal with incoming calls and customers in the office
  • Problem solving

  • Customer service and lettings administration experience
